Ann Frances Molter (Doyle), age 63, of Brooklyn Park, MN, passed away at home on January 16, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.
Ann was born January 24, 1953 in Superior, WI to Dr. Thomas J. & Mary Alice Doyle (O’Leary). She attended Cathedral Elementary, Cathedral High School, and UW Superior. Growing up in Superior, Ann was a hockey cheerleader and an avid figure skater, even winning a city championship on the ice.
On June 3, 1972, she married Michael Fred Molter. Ann and Michael soon moved to Southern California where they remained for over 22 years before returning to the Midwest and settling in Brooklyn Park, MN in 1994. Ann and Michael had 3 daughters; Ann was the consummate mom, always supportive and giving of her time to Carey, Cristy, and Mary. Since Ann “had a way” with young children, she worked as a pre-school teacher for over 19 years, most of them at the University of Saint Thomas Child Development Center where she was loved and respected by children and parents alike.
In addition to ice skating, motherhood and childcare, Ann found joy in showing off her water skiing skills, cross country skiing, swimming, pontooning, and sipping a nice glass of wine. Ann was everyone’s favorite… she was loved by all who knew her and she loved back with all her heart.
Ann was preceded in death by her mother, father, and brother Dr. Thomas J. Doyle.
Ann is survived by her husband, Michael; daughters, Carey Molter of Bayside, CA, Cristy (Matt) Clark of Oxnard, CA, and Mary Molter of Golden Valley, MN; her granddaughters, Sierra Molter, Mara Molter, and Logan Hall; and her siblings, Mary Alice Doyle and Matthew Doyle, both of Bloomington, MN.

Brooklyn Park,
I just can't say enough about the help we received in planning my husband's funeral at the Osseo Evans Nordby funeral home. It was a very difficult time and they were so caring, sensitive, helpful and very organized in making the funeral go smoothly. The funeral home in Osseo felt so welcoming and comfortable also. Tina was extremely helpful in guiding our family with planning the funeral and went out of her way in finding the right memorial folder for my husband. I would highly recommend them. Thank you all.
