Obituary for Betty Lou Lund (nee Bjork)
Age 92, of Brooklyn Park, formerly of Crystal and Aitkin, MN, passed away Tuesday, May 18th, 2021.
Preceded in death by her parents Oscar and Olive Bjork and brothers Robert and Wesley.
Survived by loving husband, Duane, of almost 71 years, children Barbara (Gary) Petersen, Allen (Paulette) Lund, John Lund, Sharon (Dave) Otten, and Lynn (Jeff) Karls, 7 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
10am visitation Thursday, May 27th, 2021 at Evans Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Center, MN; funeral at 11am. Private interment at Fort Snelling.

Evans-Nordby funeral chapel in Osseo, MN handled my husband’s cremation and Celebration of Life service in July of 2023. I can’t say enough positive things about all aspects of my interactions with them. They reached out to help every step of the way—from planning the Celebration of Life service, the service itself, and after care contact. Brittney was the person I primarily worked with. She was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, organized, and had great communication skills, which greatly helped in reducing my stress level. I plan to contact Evans-Nordby soon to pre-plan my own final arrangements.
