Obituary for Beverly DeLyser

Beverly Ann DeLyser, 92, Brooklyn Park, passed away April 30, 2024, at New Brighton Care Center after a short illness. Beverly was born on Jan. 16, 1932, to Erva and Clifford Haugen, Mondovi, WI. She graduated from Kenyon High School in 1950. Beverly and her five children moved to Brooklyn Park in 1972. She enjoyed 52 years in her home and was a longtime member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. A successful, self-employed manufacturers’ representative, Beverly retired in her 70s. Beverly was preceded in death by ex-husbands, Leo P Erickson and Richard A DeLyser; her parents; brothers Roger, Howard (Cordy), Robert, Charles; and nephew, Kevin Bies.

She is survived by her children Clifton, Cindy DeLyser Shaw, Kimberly DeLyser Trock (Dave), Steven and David (Melissa); brothers Don Haugen (Marilyn) and Walt Haugen; sisters Marge Montag and Audrey Dietsch (Roger); sisters-in-law Carol Haugen and Georgia Haugen; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and many friends who will miss her kindness and smile.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 7217 W. Broadway, Brooklyn Park at 11 a.m. Friday, June 28, 2024 with a visitation at 10 a.m. A private burial will take place Saturday, June 29, 2024 in Holden Lutheran Church Cemetery, Kenyon, MN.
