Obituary for Bradley J. Hartkopf

It is with deep sorrow and love that we mourn the passing of Bradley Hartkopf. Bradley passed away from complications of an interstitial lung disease on December 27th at the age of 68, surrounded by his loving family.

Funeral service will be 11AM Tuesday, December 31st at Lord of Life Lutheran Church in Maple Grove, MN. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service.

Bradley was born on February 29th, 1956, in Robbinsdale, MN, to Jim and Myrle Hartkopf. He was raised in Maple Grove, MN, and moved to Clear Lake, MN, in 1967, where he raised a family and began his lifelong career in the lumber business.

In 2001, Bradley married his wife Lori and relocated to Maple Grove, inheriting three more sons.

Bradley was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Myrle Hartkopf. He is survived by his loving wife, Lori; children, Kristin (Kristopher) Balgaard, Jason (Christa) Hartkopf, Matt (Pam) Lienemann, Kyle (Sarah) Lienemann, and Sam (MacCall) Lienemann; and nine cherished grandchildren, Morgan, Caden, James, Brady, Tayson, Max, Lena, Graham, and Swen. He is also survived by four siblings, Jim (Kathy) Hartkopf, Steve (Nancy) Hartkopf, Laura (Dave) Christen, and John (Dani) Hartkopf; along with many nieces, nephews, and special friends.

Bradley made the world a better place with his love, compassion, and good humor. He is deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his family and all whose lives he touched.
