Bruce Clare Dickinson, age 86, of Maple Grove, MN, passed away peacefully at home on December 20, 2022.
Bruce grew up in Hackensack, MN where he graduated from high school. His dad taught him to hunt at age 11; he hunted the same land for 74 years with family. Bruce and Lenore were married in New Ulm, MN on October 7, 1961. He worked for Spacecenter and Murphy Warehouse for 30 years. He provided a stable home for his family and they loved to camp and be outdoors. Bruce touched many lives with his storytelling and wanted to help anyone in need. But most of all, he loved his family and visiting friends.
Preceded in death by his parents, Harold & Edna; a brother and 2 sisters.
Survived by his wife of 61 years, Lenore; daughters, Christine (Bryce) Peck and Amy (Kyle) Franklin; grandchildren, Amber Franklin, Catherine (Jerrel) Hart, Aaron (Kelsey) Peck, and Lydia Franklin; great granddaughters, Addison Hart and Lilly & Olivia Peck; sister, Judy (Roy) Shelby; and many other relatives and friends.
Memorial Service 11 AM Saturday, January 28, 2023,at Redeemer Lutheran Church (9200 Elm Creek Blvd., Maple Grove, MN 55369), with visitation from 10-11 AM at the church. Private interment at a later date.
