Obituary for Chase Wade Hurdle

Chase Wade Hurdle, missing since November 2, 2021, was found in the Bismarck, ND area on June 11, 2024. Chase was born on October 29, 2003, in Chisago City, MN. He was a high school student at Coon Rapids High School and Bismarck High School and had received an acceptance letter from UND. Growing up, Chase played soccer and loved nature - even feeding the squirrels. In high school, he was an avid singer in the school choir, listened to K-pop, played video games, read and watched Anime.

Chase is survived by his father, Darius (Angela) Hurdle; his mother, Becky Hurdle (Funston); siblings, Jessica, Cory, Tyler, Akeelah, Zachary, Camika, Caelan, DelShaun, Camryn, and Sierra; grandparents, Cliff & Clara Funston; uncles, Gary Funston and Greg (Becky) Funston; the Hurdle Family and the Spanier Family; and many other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at The Church of the Epiphany, 1900 111th Ave. NW, Coon Rapids, MN. Family and friends may pay their respects at the visitation 1 hour prior to the mass at church. Interment will be at Epiphany Cemetery, Coon Rapids. Please note, the church will accept flower deliveries in the morning of the service.
