Connor passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022 at age 19. He was born in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia and joined his forever family as a baby. Connor grew up in Brooklyn Center and graduated from Brooklyn Center High school in 2021. He was working full time and had plans to attend college in the fall.
Connor will always be remembered for his infectious smile and his sense of fashion. Even at a very young age he wanted to pick out his own clothing and he was regularly wearing his latest pair of shoes. His favorite pastimes included hanging with his friends, playing with Nala, his puppy, and listening to music. To those he loved he had a generous spirit and a caring soul.
Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Craig Green of Minneapolis, Diane (Jeff) Rupert of Princeton, and brother, Drew Green at Lakeland University in Plymouth, WI; grandparents, Joyce (Bob) Doubleday, and Joyce (Duane) Spicer as well as numerous beloved friends and extended family members. Connor was preceded in death by his grandparents, Cleo Green and John Lundstrom.
Evans-Nordby funeral chapel in Osseo, MN handled my husband’s cremation and Celebration of Life service in July of 2023. I can’t say enough positive things about all aspects of my interactions with them. They reached out to help every step of the way—from planning the Celebration of Life service, the service itself, and after care contact. Brittney was the person I primarily worked with. She was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, organized, and had great communication skills, which greatly helped in reducing my stress level. I plan to contact Evans-Nordby soon to pre-plan my own final arrangements.
