David Lee Andersen, age 66, of Maple Grove, Minnesota passed away on December 26, 2017. David was born on June 13, 1951 and grew up in Waterloo, Iowa. He was an award winning architect, world traveler, and published author. He was a loving father and is survived by his children, Carolyn Andersen Burghart (Christopher Cadem) and Erik David Andersen. He is preceded in death by his parents, Richard and Jeanette Andersen, and his mother in law, Ann Becker Swenson. Visitation at 10:00 am and Funeral Service at 11:00 am on Tuesday, January 2, 2017, at Word of Peace Lutheran Church, 21705 129th Ave. N., Rogers, with visitation one hour prior to the service at church. Interment at Word of Peace Cemetery. Memorials preferred to his children.

Our son recently passed away and of course you never expect to have to deal with this for your children so my wife and I were not only devastated but didn’t know what to do or where to turn next.
