Obituary for Dean Stoldorf

Dean Robert Stoldorf, age 75 of Brooklyn Park, passed away on Oct. 16th, at North Memorial Hospital in Robbinsdale.

Dean was born & raised in Morris, the son of Murlen & Viola Stoldorf. He graduated from Morris High School in 1964 and was enrolled at Willmar VoTech before enlisting in the Air Force in 1966. United in marriage to Gloria Wetherell in Willmar in 1967. They started their journey in Duluth, then moved to Marshall where Dean started his 32 year career with Northwestern Bell Telephone Co. Lived in Redwood Falls, Willmar & Brooklyn Park. Attended Dunwoody College and received his degree in 2006.

Dean was very passionate in everything he did with rebuilding 3 old cars, fishing, hunting, golf, growing beautiful tomatoes and spoiling his dog Zoey. Loved anytime he could golf with Jeff & Stacy.

He is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Gloria; children, Jeff (Sarah), Stacy (Michael) Guethling; grandchildren, Abbey, Jasper & Bennett Stoldorf. He is preceded in death by his parents; brother, Richard; sisters, Carol Miner & Karen Williams.

Celebration of Life Service 11AM Tuesday, 10/26 at Brooklyn United Methodist, 7200 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center 55429, with visitation starting at 10AM. Memorials preferred to Brooklyn United Methodist Church.
