Age 86, passed peacefully on August 13, 2024 in Maple Grove. She was born November 3, 1937 in Mpls MN, the daughter of Frederick and Myrtle (Saltee) Ray. She was married to Herman G Feldstein for 54 years before his passing in 2021.
Donna’s steadfast faith guided her each day. She was wholeheartedly committed to raising her 5 children and the family’s success was due to Donna’s guidance, leadership and love. She was so proud of her family and let them know each time she saw or spoke to them. She talked about her grandchildren every day. They were such a big part of her life. Having great grandchildren also brought her such joy. She loved reading, lunches with friends, gardening, and her bible study. Most of all though, she loved her family and dedicated her life to them.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Herman, step mother Bertha, grandson Dominic, sisters Sandy and Shirley.
She is survived by children, Becky (Bernie) Waldoch, Tony (Diane), Tom (Mary Ellen), Peter (Beth), and Laura (Corey) Moore; grandchildren Joey, Michael, Alex, Nick, Dustin, Tyler, Hunter, Maddie, Christian, Jack, Katie, Courtni, 10 great grandchildren.
A private burial service will be held on Friday August 16th at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
Evans-Nordby funeral chapel in Osseo, MN handled my husband’s cremation and Celebration of Life service in July of 2023. I can’t say enough positive things about all aspects of my interactions with them. They reached out to help every step of the way—from planning the Celebration of Life service, the service itself, and after care contact. Brittney was the person I primarily worked with. She was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, organized, and had great communication skills, which greatly helped in reducing my stress level. I plan to contact Evans-Nordby soon to pre-plan my own final arrangements.
