Doris V. Petersen of Brooklyn Center (formerly of Clark, So Dak) went home to be with the Lord Aug 7, 2017. Preceded in death by parents Walter Ray & Vesta Audus; sisters Elinor & Ruby. Survived & cherished by her husband of 74 years, Ordeen; sister Marion; children Gary (Gloria), Glen, Alan, Diane (Steve); grandchildren LeAnne, Melessia, Scott, John, Brent (Kelli), Brandon, Reed, Ben; 10 great grandchildren; & many other loving relatives & friends. Doris was God’s servant & Angel on Earth giving her love, thoughtfulness, & uplifting special smiles to everyone! Our lives have been enriched by knowing her and her love! Funeral Service 10am Friday, August 18, 2017, Lutheran Church of the Master, 1200 69th Av N, Brooklyn Center, MN , with visitation one hour prior to service. Visitation also 5 to 7:30pm Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Evans-Nordby 6000 Brooklyn Blvd, Brooklyn Center, MN, 763-533-3000; Interment Fort Snelling National Cemetery.

Our son recently passed away and of course you never expect to have to deal with this for your children so my wife and I were not only devastated but didn’t know what to do or where to turn next.
