Obituary for Dorothy M. Korus

Dorothy M. Korus, age 89, of St. Therese Oxbow Lake, Brooklyn Park. Born on June 13, 1931, went peacefully into Jesus' arms on November 22, 2020.

Dorothy retired from Donaldson’s. She enjoyed genealogy, sewing, camping, entertaining, cards and so much more. She especially had a love for all her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved to hug, tease, and give very generously of her time.

Preceded in death by her husband, Raymond; son, Thomas; parents, Walter & Agnes Barthel; siblings, Mary, Leroy, Leora, Leona, Jerry, Mildred.

Survived by her children, Randy (Janis) Korus, Cheryl (Grant) Tragethon, Terry (Kathy) Korus, Kathy (Tom) Barnes, Sue (David) Preston, Shirley (Dave) Sandell; 11 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; siblings, Delrose Barthel, Marlene Olson, Audrey (Clarence) Lehman, and Dennis (Kathleen) Barthel; other relatives and many friends in AZ and MN.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Friday, December 4, 2020, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, Brooklyn Park. Internment at St. Vincent's Cemetery, Osseo. Due to Covid-19 concerns we ask that only immediate family attend. Her funeral will also be broadcast on YouTube at https://youtu.be/FbXShyEM-4c for those unable to attend ( the link will be live at 9:45AM). A celebration of Dorothy's life will be held next Summer.
