Dorothy Mae Moan, age 87, formerly of Brooklyn Park.
Preceded in death by her husband, Alben; parents; 2 brothers; and son-in-law, George Oswald.
Survived by children, Terra (Victor) Rafael, Cindy Oswald, Douglas Moan, Jeffrey (Debbie) Moan, Lori (Doug) Romey, and Michelle Mattson; 15 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; siblings, Betty Nelson and Gene Gronlund; and many other relatives and friends.
Service 11 AM Thursday, February 7, 2019 at First Lutheran Church of Crystal, 7708 62nd Ave. N., Brooklyn Park, with visitation 1 hour prior to the service at church. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
Memorials preferred to Alzheimer’s Association.

Evans-Nordby funeral chapel in Osseo, MN handled my husband’s cremation and Celebration of Life service in July of 2023. I can’t say enough positive things about all aspects of my interactions with them. They reached out to help every step of the way—from planning the Celebration of Life service, the service itself, and after care contact. Brittney was the person I primarily worked with. She was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, organized, and had great communication skills, which greatly helped in reducing my stress level. I plan to contact Evans-Nordby soon to pre-plan my own final arrangements.
