Dobesh, Elizabeth Lucille “Betty” Crandell. Born in Mankato, MN on June 9, 1930 and passed away August 2, 2022. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Dobesh II.
Survived by her children, Joseph Dobesh III, Linda Bartz (Jim); grandchildren, Samuel, William, Christopher, Jeremiah, Benjamin and 6 great-grandchildren. Her sister Alyce Johnston and Brother-in-law Fred Dobesh (Gloria) and numerous nieces & nephews.
Betty lived her married life in Brooklyn Center MN. She was a charter member of St. Alphonsus and for many years involved in the Church Guild, the ESA org. and a neighborhood card club. Betty worked for FMC in Fridley as a switchboard operator for 22 Years. Betty and George did a lot of traveling. She spent many years working on the Dobesh genealogy and was involved in his WWII ship reunions. Betty had a fun life.
Mass of Christian Burial, 10am Wed. Aug. 10, 22 at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, 7025 Halifax Ave N., Brooklyn Center with visitation 1 hour prior to the service. Interment at Ft. Snelling.
