Obituary for Eloise Zenanko

Eloise Ellen (Koch) (Fahrendorff) Zenanko, 80, of Champlin, Minnesota passed away on October 3, 2024. Eloise was born on April 4, 1944 in River Falls to Byron and Florence (LuBudde) Koch.

Eloise graduated high school in River Falls. This is where she met Jack Fahrendorff and got married on December 15, 1962. They had four children - Roberta, Evelyn, John, and Karl. They moved back to the Fahrendorff home farm east of Milltown. She worked at the United Pioneer Home in Luck from 1972-1986. Then worked at MILS from 1992-2017. She married Peter Zenanko August 11, 1994, then resided in Champlin with Pete until her passing.

Eloise enjoyed quilting and she enjoyed arts and crafts with crazy quilting. Eloise enjoyed decorating chairs by painting them and adding words on them or floral designs. She also helped disabled people with health care concerns. She enjoyed spending time with the grandchildren and seeing her great-grandchildren when they would visit.

Eloise leaves to celebrate her memory: daughter Roberta Horning, Milltown, WI; daughter Evelyn Larsen, Milltown, WI; son John, Brooklyn Park, MN; and son Karl, Milltown, WI. Grandchildren: Andrew (Della) Case-Allan, Jay Larsen, Julia (Jake) Erickson, Jenelle (Travis McDaniel) Larsen, Joe (Jessi) Larsen. Great-grandchildren: Damani, Kamdyn, Andrew Jr., Jade, Darren, Jasper, Juniper, Jude. Siblings: Donovan Koch, Nancy (Mike) Ries, Yvonne (John) Koch-Proctor, Rollie (Dawn) Koch.

She was preceded in death by her parents Byron and Florence Koch, sister-in-law Dorothy Koch, and grandson James.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Eloise at 11AM on October 19, 2024, with visitation at 10AM at Evans-Nordby, 34 2nd Street NE, Osseo, Minnesota, 55369.
