Elsie Catherine Deutsch

November 5, 1925 - August 20, 2018

Elsie Catherine Deutsch (nee Brown) born November 5, 1925 in Marshall County, South Dakota. She graduated from high school in Sisseton, South Dakota and married Leo Deutsch in 1942 in Eden, South Dakota. Elsie worked at FMC Northern Ordinances in Fridley, Minnesota as a technical typist, then as the first female supervisor for over 8 years. Elsie also owned a glass blowing business with one of her daughters in Oklahoma and also worked for Employment Benefits as an accountant until her retirement.

Elsie was preceded in death by her husband Leo Deutsch, son Stan Deutsch, daughter Donna Schluessler (nee Deutsch), 3 granddaughter’s and 2 great-granddaughter's. She is survived by children Leo (Pearl) Deutsch, Donald Deutsch, Judy Bullock, Marlys (Mark) Barrows, Cathy (Dale) Peterson, Beverly (Bob) Loberg, Mark Deutsch, Timothy Deutsch and Genevieve (Jeff) Davis; 30 grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial Friday, 8/24, 11:30 AM, Mary Queen of Peace (St. Martin Campus) 21304 Church Ave, Rogers. In lieu of flowers memorials preferred to J A Wedum Hospice, HospiceFoundation@allina.com
