Emeric “Em” Stachowski passed away on January 10th, 2023, at 67. His battle with serious medical issues in recent years showed his courage in facing life’s challenges head-on. He fought a long and courageous battle till the very end.
Emeric met the love of his life, Ruth, 49 years ago this month, and they have been inseparable since. They built a wonderful life in Northeast Minneapolis, where they raised their three daughters. He was a proud “Popski” to Kaden and Easton Dybdahl and loved those boys beyond words could ever express.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 46 years, Ruth; children, Amber (Kurt) Dybdahl, Ashlee (Ryan) Bisset, and Nicole Stachowski; grandsons, Kaden and Easton Dybdahl; brother, Michael (Pam); sisters; Kathy and Delores (Rodney); one niece, three nephews and countless relatives and friends. He will be missed deeply by his four-legged companions, Jack and Mimi.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Pauline; brother, Richard; sister, Maryann; and nephew, Todd.
A celebration of life will be held from 4-7 PM on January 19th, 2023, at Evans- Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd St NE, Osseo, MN 55369.

Evans-Nordby Funeral Home

I highly recommend the team at Evans Nordby. This past weekend, they assisted as we buried my mom. Twelve years ago, they assisted as we buried my dad. Brittney and the staff are so comforting, easy to work with and compassionate. They make every decision simple, and the whole process as painless as possible. I am so happy that we chose this funeral home, and encourage you to consider using them in your time of need.
