Berg, Evelyn Marie
Age 88, of Coon Rapids, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2020 at J. A. Wedum Residential Hospice in Brooklyn Park, after a long battle with cancer. Preceded in death by her parents, Bill & Marie Berg. Survived by her loving sister, Elaine Berg; many cousins & friends. Evelyn retired from General Mills after 37 years of service. She enjoyed traveling, photography, bird watching & biking, especially with her sister. The family would like to thank North Memorial Hospice & J. A. Wedum for their care of Evelyn. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Monday, August 10, 2020 at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 9100 93rd Ave, Brooklyn Park with visitation on Sunday, August 9, 2020 5-8 PM at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd Street NE, Osseo. No visitation prior to Mass at church. Interment at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery. Memorials preferred to your local food shelf.

Evans-Nordby funeral chapel in Osseo, MN handled my husband’s cremation and Celebration of Life service in July of 2023. I can’t say enough positive things about all aspects of my interactions with them. They reached out to help every step of the way—from planning the Celebration of Life service, the service itself, and after care contact. Brittney was the person I primarily worked with. She was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, organized, and had great communication skills, which greatly helped in reducing my stress level. I plan to contact Evans-Nordby soon to pre-plan my own final arrangements.
