Gordon C. Nelson, age 88, of Brooklyn Park.
Air Force veteran and member of Robbinsdale American Legion Post 251. Retired from NSP after 30+ years and served as a CEAP volunteer for 12 years. Lived 34 years with a heart transplanted by U of M.
Preceded in death by his wife, Emily.
Survived by his wife, Gladys; children, Doug (Kelley), Brent, and Cheryl (Mike) Schlicht; 6 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; brother, Victor Nelson; and sister, Audrey Van Someren.
Private interment at Sunset Memorial in Woodville, WI. Memorial service to be planned for spring or summer 2021.

I just can't say enough about the help we received in planning my husband's funeral at the Osseo Evans Nordby funeral home.
