Obituary for Jacob W. Newby
Jacob W. “Jake” Newby, age 32, of Maple Grove, MN, passed away unexpectedly on October 17, 2020.
Jake is survived by his mother, Jane Dixon; father & step mother, Edward and Chasidy Newby; siblings, Brianne, Kaylee, and Lacey; niece, Alyssa; grandparents, John and Shirley Dixon; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his dog, Bella.
Jake is preceded in death by his uncle, Kurt Lienemann.
Jake had a passion for hunting, fishing (especially ice fishing), and the outdoors. He was a person who always made himself available to help others, especially when it was family and friends. Jake had recently ventured out to start his own tile installation business after working in construction for several years. Our hearts are broken, and we will forever miss his contagious smile and laugh.
There will be a private memorial service for family and friends on Monday, October 26, 2020, at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home in Osseo, MN.
