Our "sweet baby" James, age 15, passed away on October 17, 2021. James was a wonderful son, brother, nephew, cousin, and friend. He was kind, smart and quiet, and known to his friends as a gentle giant. James loved video games, music, drawing, muscle cars, a good book, Philly cheesesteak, ice cream and chicken strips.
James is preceded in death by great grandparents, Peter and Burnys Koch, Kenneth and Margaret Stowe, and Duane and Shirley Olson.
James is survived by parents, Tim and Sarah Koch; brother Alick Koch ; beloved dogs, Ellie and Neela; grandparents, David and Cheryl Koch & Richard and Kathleen Olson; great grandparents, Stewart and Corrine Austin; uncle and aunt, Matthew and Dana Olson; uncle and aunt, Scott and Nicole Davis; aunt and uncle, Lindsay Koch and Zak Freidt; cousins, Morgan, Kendra, Rutledge, Vaughn, Beau, Arabella, Cirilla, and Freya; and many extended family and friends.
Memorial Service 3 PM Saturday\, November 6, 2021, at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd St. NE, Osseo, with visitation 1-3 PM.

Our son recently passed away and of course you never expect to have to deal with this for your children so my wife and I were not only devastated but didn’t know what to do or where to turn next. We met with her the next day and she went through all the aspects of what we were to expect in the coming days, weeks, then months ahead.
