James William Greenwood, 91 years, passed away peacefully on 2/8/20. Jim was born on October 6th 1928 to Charles and Kathryn Greenwood in Minneapolis. Jim graduated in 1946 from Patrick Henry High. Jim worked as Transportation Manager for 35 years at Peavy located in downtown Mpls. Jim was still employed at Lowes in Coon Rapids and loved his Lowes family. Preceeded in death by his parents; brothers, Charles, Rock and Gerald; and daughter, Susan. Survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Joy; children, Chris (Judi), Tim, Daniel, Betsy (Bill), Patty (Ken), Jane, Jim , John; blessed with 10 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Jim sincerely loved people and above all loved his family deeply. Visitation & Service will all be held Monday 2/17/2020 with visitation at 9:30-10:45AM and Mass at 11:00, all will be held at St. Alphonsus, 7025 Halifax Ave, Brooklyn Center, MN.

Our son recently passed away and of course you never expect to have to deal with this for your children so my wife and I were not only devastated but didn’t know what to do or where to turn next.
