Jamie A. (White) Ward, age 75, Maple Grove, passed away peacefully January 2, 2024, with her husband and children by her side. Jamie was born on July 27, 1948.
Jamie had a strong faith on which she drew often. Smart, compassionate, strong in mind, body and spirit, Jamie’s presence will be deeply missed.
Her love of husband, Dan, and her immediate and extended family, was limitless. She helped shape the lives of her own children, grandchildren, great grandchildren- as well as many nieces, nephews, and children of life long family friends, providing them care with love, attention and a bit of Jamie authority when necessary.
These children, some well into their 50s to her youngest granddaughter of 2.5 years, all have loving and fond memories of Jamie.
Jamie did not allow the difficulties of her own health struggles, including, Parkinson’s disease, to slow her down. As with all of her life’s ups and downs, she managed them with an unwavering tenacity.
Whether putting on a holiday feast or creating unparalleled pies, cakes, bars - and the best Christmas cookies of all time - Jamie was the one to beat. Or not.

These people are wonderful. They went over and above in every possible way to help us with funeral arrangements, the visitation, service and burial, despite the fact that we had a limited budget. They were patient, kind, and treated us like family. This is a funeral home you can trust. Thank you, Evans-Nordby.
