Janice (Armbruster) Sandberg-Brinson passed away on Thursday, October 28th, 2021 at the age of 56, after an almost 6 year battle of ovarian cancer. She spent her last days at peace surrounded by her family. Janice was born Janice Gail Armbruster on July 22nd, 1965 to Fredrick and Joanne Armbruster in Minneapolis, MN. Janice was raised in Maple Grove, MN and graduated from Osseo Senior High in 1983. She spent many years working as an IT Project Manager. She enjoyed hosting, cooking, traveling, and playing with her granddaughter. Through her life, Janice made everyone around her feel special and was a bright beam in every room she was in.
Janice was preceded in death by her father; Fredrick; She is survived by her mother, Joanne; husband, Eric Brinson; son, Steven (Tiffany) Sandberg; daughter, Sarah Sandberg; step-daughters Ariel (Isaac) Brinson and Kris (Jay) Huber; granddaughter, Emmy Sandberg; brother David (Dee Dee) Armbruster; sister, Julie (Jim) Hokkanen; nieces and nephews, Ashley (Steve) Biorn, Jocelyn Hokkanen, Jessica Armbruster, Skyler (Bethany) Hokkanen, Spencer (Rebecca) Hokkanen, and all her brothers and sisters in Faith.
Visitation will be at the Minneapolis Independent Apostolic Lutheran Church, 14000 129th Ave N in Dayton, MN on Sunday, October 31st, 2021 at 3:00 - 7:00 pm. Visitation again at the church on Monday, November 1st, from 10:00 am until the funeral service at 11:00. Lunch will be served.

Our son recently passed away and of course you never expect to have to deal with this for your children so my wife and I were not only devastated but didn’t know what to do or where to turn next. Evans-Nordby was recommended to us by our Priest and I’m so glad he did. From the moment I talked to Tina on the phone I could tell we were in good hands as she took care of every detail. We met with her the next day and she went through all the aspects of what we were to expect in the coming days, weeks, then months ahead. Every employee we had contact with at Evans-Nordby was kind, compassionate and extremely professional. Thanks Tina and to all at Evans-Nordby for making an unbearable experience at least tolerable.
