Obituary for Jason Wood

With heavy hearts, we share that Jason Alan Wood passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at the age of 39. He was a cherished husband, father, son, brother and friend.

Jason loved his wife, Andrea, and the rest of his family and friends deeply, and showed it through both his words and actions. Always welcoming, eager to lend a helping hand, or share in a joke, Jason savored time with his loved ones. He was a wonderful father, offering patience, unwavering support, and love in abundance to his two children, Mason and Savannah. A friend to many, Jason leaves behind a legacy of selflessness and generosity.

Jason is preceded in death by his grandparents, Leonard and Dorothy Wood; and Eugene and Ann Stanchfield. His legacy will live on through his wife of 11 years, Andrea; children, Mason (9) and Savannah (7); parents, Donna and Dale Wood; mother and father in-law, Julie and Lee Gustafson; sisters, April (Brandon) Larsen and Andrea (John) Reineck; sister-in-law, Lauren (Kyle) Mittlieder; nieces, Tori Larsen, Makenzie Reineck and Marlee Mittlieder; nephews, Gavin Larsen and Jacob Reineck; as well as countless loved ones who felt his warmth and kindness.

I just can't say enough about the help we received in planning my husband's funeral at the Osseo Evans Nordby funeral home. It was a very difficult time and they were so caring, sensitive, helpful and very organized in making the funeral go smoothly. The funeral home in Osseo felt so welcoming and comfortable also. Tina was extremely helpful in guiding our family with planning the funeral and went out of her way in finding the right memorial folder for my husband. I would highly recommend them. Thank you all.
