In Loving Memory of Jeffrey P. Esson

Our dearly loved Jeff, age 55, passed away suddenly on the night of February 24, 2025. 

Jeff was born in Golden Valley, Minnesota, on November 12, 1969, the third and youngest child of Stan and Mari Esson. Jeff grew up in Maple Grove, he attended and graduated from Osseo Senior High School in 1988 and went on to earn a degree in Graphic Design from Brown College.  

Jeff was passionate about graphic design, a love that fueled his entire career in advertising and marketing. His exceptional ability to dive into any role and quickly master it made him an invaluable asset across all areas of the companies he served. Most recently, Jeff celebrated two successful years as a Product Manager at Turck USA in Plymouth, a testament to his versatility and commitment.

If you were a friend of Jeff’s, you had a lifelong and loyal friend. Whether you had recently met him or had shared a lifetime of memories, Jeff possessed a rare ability to brighten any moment with his infectious laughter and unwavering kindness. Yet, his most profound legacy was his role as a devoted father to his two beautiful children, Eastman and Raely. They were his greatest pride, his deepest love, and the living embodiment of his enduring spirit. Jeff poured his heart into nurturing and guiding them, offering wisdom, encouragement, and unconditional love that will continue to shape their lives for years to come.

Jeff is survived by his parents Stan and Mari Esson, brothers Mike (Brenda) and Brad (Stephanie), long-time girlfriend Heidi and her daughter Sophie, and former wife Tiffany and mother of their children Eastman (21) and Raely (18). Jeff is also survived by nieces Ashley (Tim), Abby (Jake), and Mikenna and nephews Andrew (Amanda), Alec (Emily) and Joey and eight great-nephews and great-nieces.

Jeff’s greatest joy was family and friends. He loved family events and brought joy and his goofy spirit to every celebration. So join us to celebrate the life of Jeff. 

Memorial Service will be held at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, located at 7401 County Road 101, Maple Grove, MN 55311, on Friday, March 14th. Visitation will be at 10:00 am and service at 11:00 am.  For those not able to attend the service will be live-streamed at https://lordoflife.org/celebrationoflife and can be found on the site at a later date.
