Deering (Schommer), Joan K., age 85, of Maple Grove. Graduate of Wayzata High School. Preceded in death by her parents, Albert & Veronica Schommer and brother, Clarence. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Joe, Steve (Vicky), Shirley, Delores, Jerry, and Dave; grandchildren, Shannon, Marcus (Cami), Mitch, and Alexa; great grandchildren, Mia, Sofia, and Chase; siblings, Audrey, Margie, Mike, Mary and Kenny; and many other family and friends. “A mother’s hug lasts long after she lets go”

Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Tuesday, November 17, 2020, at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, 7180 Hemlock Ln. N., Maple Grove, with visitation 2 hours prior to mass. Private interment at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Maple Grove. Memorials preferred to the American Diabetes Assn. or the American Heart Assn.
