Joan Phyllis Johnson, 92, of Maple Grove (formerly of Willmar), passed away Wednesday, March 3rd, at the Willows of Arbor Lakes in Maple Grove. She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Anna (Warnke) Hanson; husband, Paul; and five siblings, Marlow Hanson, Marjorie Beliveau, Mervel Hanson, Luverne Hanson and Sharolyn Lind. Joan is survived by daughter, Virginia (Brian) Thorkelson; grandchildren, Kelsey (Kiel) McElveen and Alexander; great-grandson Eamonn and many nieces and nephews. Due to Covid-19 restrictions, services will be held at a later date.

I just can't say enough about the help we received in planning my husband's funeral at the Osseo Evans Nordby funeral home. It was a very difficult time and they were so caring, sensitive, helpful and very organized in making the funeral go smoothly. The funeral home in Osseo felt so welcoming and comfortable also.
