John F. "Jack" Lyons, age 82, of Maple Grove, formerly of Osseo.
Preceded in death by son, Mike; parents, Paul & Marjorie; and siblings, Paul, Peggy, and Joe.
Survived by his wife of 61 years, Alice; children, Jim (Shannon), Karen Kahler (Derek), Steve (Nancy), and Tom (Stephani); grandchildren, Kaity, Alex, Daniel (Molly), Patrick, Cameron, Henry, Ethan, Owen, AJ (Emily), Eric (Lily), Joelle, Aly, Taylor, and Anna; great grandchildren, Clayton and a baby boy expected soon; brother, Bill; sister, Mary (Doug) Johnson; and many other family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Monday, November 11, 2024, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 9100 93rd Ave. N., Brooklyn Park. Visitaiton 4-7 PM Sunday, at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd St. NE, Osseo, with a Prayer Service at 7 PM. Visitaiton also 1 hour prior to mass at church. Interment St. Vincent's Cemetery, Osseo.
Memorials preferred to the Michael J. Lyons Scholarship Fund at St. Vincent's School.

Our son recently passed away and of course you never expect to have to deal with this for your children so my wife and I were not only devastated but didn’t know what to do or where to turn next.
