John Michael Schopf, age 68, passed away January 30, 2022 after a 20-year courageous battle with Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma and complications from Pneumonia.
John was born and raised in Robbinsdale, MN. John's first job was Broadway Pizza which he still loved.
John went on to work at Tennant Company for almost 43 years where he met his wife Pam and shared many good times and memories. They recently celebrated their 40th Anniversary.
John enjoyed music, boating, bowling, gardening, biking, golf and feeding the birds. He was very proud of the many projects he accomplished while living in his home in Maple Grove since 1980: finishing the basement, adding a 4 season porch, painting, and making the garage his man cave.
Preceded in death by parents. George & Phyllis and sister, Jeanie.
Survived by his wife of 40 years, Pam; children, Darcy (Tom) Kohman and Andy Schopf; granddaughter, Reese; brother, Richard (Judy) Schopf; sister, Barb O’Hara; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends; and his best buddy, Frankie his cat. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him and got to know his sense of humor and kind heart.
I'm sure John is in heaven rocking to the Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd or any rock and roll band.
Celebration of John’s Life 2-4 PM with a Time of Remembrance at 4 PM on Friday, February 25, 2022, at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2nd St. NE, Osseo.

I just can't say enough about the help we received in planning my husband's funeral at the Osseo Evans Nordby funeral home. It was a very difficult time and they were so caring, sensitive, helpful and very organized in making the funeral go smoothly. The funeral home in Osseo felt so welcoming and comfortable also. Tina was extremely helpful in guiding our family with planning the funeral and went out of her way in finding the right memorial folder for my husband. I would highly recommend them. Thank you all.
