Jon Craig Price, age 71, of Champlin, MN, passed away peacefully after a hard fought battle with lung cancer on Monday, March 26th, 2018. He was born on July 14th, 1946 in Monroe, IA to Hubert and Mildred (Meyers) Price.
Jon was a Vietnam-era veteran and member of the American Legion and 40/8. He was a longtime United Telephone/Sprint/Embarq employee, now retired. As a classic car enthusiast, he won numerous trophies over the years. He enjoyed hunting, car shows and tinkering around in his garage.
Preceded in death by his parents and son, Jon Craig Price, Jr. Survived by wife Lisa; daughters Nicole (Conrad) Van Walbeek and Erin (Scott) Oldenburg; stepsons Jake Dunaway and Jesse (Heidi) Olson; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; and brother Clint (Cheryl) Price.
Visitation is Thursday, April 5th at 9-11 a.m., Osseo United Methodist Church, 16 2nd Ave SE, Osseo, MN with service to follow at 11 a.m. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery will take place on Friday, April 6th at 11:30 a.m.
