Justin D. Zelenak, age 31, died on October 31st, unexpectedly of respiratory distress due to an unknown cause. Justin gave the gift of life by donating his organs and gave his heart to a 38 year old man, his right lung to a 68 year old man, his liver to a 50 year old woman, his left kidney and pancreas to a 47 year old man, and his right kidney to a 44 year old man.
Justin is survived by his parents, Kathy Zelenak & Joe Anderson; brother, Kelly; grandparents, Dave & Mary Zelenak, Jean Anderson; girlfriend, Anissa Thompson and her family; aunts & uncles, Lisa (Adam), Kristin (Matt), Steve, Marie, Kevin (Melodie), Anita (Mike), Tom (Sharon), Mike Uden, Lori (Steve), Erik (Stacy); and numerous cousins & friends.
Preceded in death by grandfather, Francis Anderson; aunt, Michelle; aunt, Debra; and cousin, Whitney.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11AM Monday, 11/7/22 at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center with visitation from 9-11AM. Interment following the service at Gethsemane Cemetery in New Hope. Luncheon to follow the burial at Dave & Buster’s in Maple Grove.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the family.

Evans-Nordby funeral chapel in Osseo, MN handled my husband’s cremation and Celebration of Life service in July of 2023. I can’t say enough positive things about all aspects of my interactions with them. They reached out to help every step of the way—from planning the Celebration of Life service, the service itself, and after care contact. Brittney was the person I primarily worked with. She was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, organized, and had great communication skills, which greatly helped in reducing my stress level. I plan to contact Evans-Nordby soon to pre-plan my own final arrangements.
