Age 83, of Brooklyn Center, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 13, 2021 at home with her family by her side.
She was born May 2, 1938 in Minneapolis to Earl and Lillian Haugesag.
She is survived by her loving husband of 63 years, Virgil Bohlin. They built a beautiful life together and were blessed with four amazing children; daughter, Cher (Tim) Petersen; sons, Derrick Bohlin, Joel Bohlin and Craig Bohlin; grandson, Nathan (Cassie) Petersen; and granddaughter, Renee Sneen; great-grandchildren, Landon Sneen, Mason Sneen, Shawn Mottaz; and seven fur grandbabies; brother, Richard (Jackie) Haugesag; uncle, Wayne (Margarete) Sampson; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
She is preceded in death by parents, Earl Sr and Lillian Haugesag; brothers, Stan (Marian) Haugesag and Earl Haugesag Jr; special aunt and uncle, Violet & John Vrajinoff.
Celebration of Karen’s life will be held at Lakewood Memorial Chapel, 3600 Hennepin Ave, Minneapolis, Tuesday, May 18, 2021. Visitation at 11:45AM and service at 12:15PM. Face masks will be required.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Croix Hospice or Alzheimer’s research.
