Kevin Hegyi, age 45, Badge #3613, of Rogers, formerly of Brooklyn Center.
Preceded in death by parents Kalman & Marilyn; grandmother Pearl Torry and uncle Frank Hegyi.
Survived by sons, Coleman, Carter and Cody (with ex-wife Taunya Buboltz); sister Vicki (Quintin) Speers; close friend Mary Jordan and many other loving relatives and friends.
Kevin was a Hopkins police detective, SWAT team leader, field training officer & use of force instructor. He was a well-respected peer and co-worker and will be missed deeply. He also loved sports and hunting. Family, friends and members of public safety are invited to join in remembering Kevin.
Memorial service FRIDAY, 8/9, 11AM, Grace Fellowship, 8601 101st Ave. N., Brooklyn Park. Visitation THURSDAY, 8/8, 4-7PM at Grace Fellowship and 1 hr. prior to service.

I just can't say enough about the help we received in planning my husband's funeral at the Osseo Evans Nordby funeral home. It was a very difficult time and they were so caring, sensitive, helpful and very organized in making the funeral go smoothly. The funeral home in Osseo felt so welcoming and comfortable also.
