Lawrence Carl Bjork, age 96, of Albert Lea, MN, passed away on January 15, 2023.

Lawrence’s life motto was “live and let live” and he was regarded as the “Cool Dad” by Jeff’s teenage friends. Lawrence was friendly, fun, outgoing, and trusting. He loved music, dancing, being social, and especially enjoyed being in the presence of others. He worked at Joyner’s Die Casting and Plating for 47 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl and Ida; son, Gregory; brother, Delbert; and sisters, Ruth, Doris, and Esther.

Lawrence is survived by his wife of 69 years, Lorraine; son, Jeffrey (Cynthia); daughter, Jillayne (Timothy) Raben; grandchildren, Dustin Illg, Shelby Illg, and Holly Raben; and many other relatives and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Tuesday, January 24, 2023, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with visitation one hour prior at church. Interment following mass.
