Obituary for LuAnn Fahey

LuAnn Fahey, age 85, of Brooklyn Park. Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI.

She spent her career with Park Dental and Delta Dental in MN. LuAnn was very involved with her church. She was an active member with “Knitting Grandma’s”, making hats for babies at Maple Grove Hospital. She attended weekly Adoration Chapel and prepared meals for the priests. Her handiwork didn’t go unnoticed, she won a ribbon at MN State Fair for a crochet blanket titled “Angel Blanket”. LuAnn enjoyed golfing with many special friends at Edinburgh Golf Course.

Preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Bill and Jim Fisher; sister, Donna Koeckenberg; and sister-in-law, Joan McGivern.

Survived by her husband of 64 years, Jerry; children, Kathy (Gary) Gram, Kevin (Tami) Fahey, and Dennis Fahey; and grandchildren, Jack and Brandon Fahey, nieces and nephews and many special friends.

Private family services.

Memorials preferred to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 9100 93rd Ave N, Brooklyn Park, MN 55445.

Our son recently passed away and of course you never expect to have to deal with this for your children so my wife and I were not only devastated but didn’t know what to do or where to turn next.
