Martha Louise Lewis, age 69, of Maple Grove passed away on Nov. 4, 2021 surrounded by her family. Born Aug. 28, 1952 in Rogers to Walter & Helen Dehn. Affectionately known as “Mookey” or “Marty” she played many roles to her friends and family: Parishioner, watching over students during playground duty. Scorekeeper, over many Rummy games. Patriot, locating the perfect spots to watch 4th of July fireworks. Navigator, finding our way to our National Parks. She made the holidays special, crafting the perfect pumpkin bread and stuffing for Thanksgiving, and making every Christmas memorable, with careful thought behind each gift.
Preceded in death by her parents and siblings, James Dehn and Rita Tuck.
Survived by her husband Greg of 48 years; children Aaron Lewis, Nicholas Lewis, and Sally (Josh) Blair; grandchildren, Grace, Ella, Mary, and Charlotte; siblings, Patty Davis, Arnie Dehn, Tom Dehn, Kathy Robinson, Mary Bromander, Lorraine Gould, Annette Haller, and Audrey Dehn; and many other family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Friday, Nov. 12, 2021, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 9100 93rd Ave N, Brooklyn Park, with visitation beginning at 9 AM. Interment St. Vincent’s Cemetery, Osseo.

Evans-Nordby funeral chapel in Osseo, MN handled my husband’s cremation and Celebration of Life service in July of 2023. I can’t say enough positive things about all aspects of my interactions with them. They reached out to help every step of the way—from planning the Celebration of Life service, the service itself, and after care contact. Brittney was the person I primarily worked with. She was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, organized, and had great communication skills, which greatly helped in reducing my stress level. I plan to contact Evans-Nordby soon to pre-plan my own final arrangements.
