Merle Francis Duerr, age 88, of Brooklyn Center, loving husband, dad and grandpa passed away on June 12, 2022.
Survived by loving wife of 66 years, Carolyn; children, Linda (Steven) Johnson, Char Fearing, Steve (Kellie) Duerr; and 25 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Born June 6, 1934, in St. Michael, Merle worked at Toro and Onan Corp. as a sheet metal worker for many years. He loved to hunt, fish, bowl, coach little league baseball and dance. But most of all, he loved his family.
Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Friday, June 17, 2022, at St. Alphonsus Church, 7025 Halifax Ave. N., Brooklyn Center, MN 55429. Visitation 1 hour prior to mass at church and 5-7 PM Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center, MN 55429.

I just can't say enough about the help we received in planning my husband's funeral at the Osseo Evans Nordby funeral home.
