Obituary for Mike L. Fitzpatrick

Mike L. Fitzpatrick, age 75 of Zimmerman, passed away on March 8, 2020. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. The love of family was the most important thing in his life. He started his career as a radio announcer & was known as Mike Knight for KTCR Country. His life’s passion was being an instructor at Brown Institute teaching others in the field of broadcasting. Preceded in death by parents, Herschel Theodore & Ila (Miller) Fitzpatrick; a half brother; 2 half sisters; and aunts & uncles. Survived by wife of 52 years, Darlene; children, Michael (Tina), Tamara (John) McDonald; grandchildren, Brandon, Austin, Ana, Jonathan, Breanna, Gabriella, Thomas, Melina; 2 half sisters, Nida White, Evelyn Osburne; loved fur baby, Buddy; and many nieces & nephews. Funeral Service 11AM Saturday, March 14, at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 34 2^nd St. NE, Osseo, with visitation from 9:30-11AM. Interment at All Saints Cemetery, Lakeville, MN.
