Obituary for Randy Petterssen

Age 69, of Maple Grove, passed away on October 13, 2023.

Randy is preceded in death by his parents, Richard & Blanche; and his brother, Richard Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Janelle; daughters, Melissa (Eddie) Kaiser, and Liz (Chad) Renstrom; grandchildren, Kate & Will Kaiser, and Lily Renstrom; sisters-in-law, Beth Petterssen, Barb (Don) Nierengarten, and Laurie (Jerry) Pichert; niece, nephews, cousins, and other relatives and friends.

Randy attended the Brown Institute for broadcasting before he went on to spend 37 career years in industrial sales. He found immense joy in cooking and carrying on his mom's Italian recipes and traditions. He had a passion for golf, especially his regular Saturday tee time with his dad and friends. Randy enjoyed fishing with friends and family, whether it be for sport or just for fun. He took pride in maintaining his yard and gardens, and enjoyed following and representing Minnesota sports teams.

Service to be held Thursday, November 2nd at Advent Lutheran Church, 9475 Jefferson Highway, Maple Grove, MN 55369. Gathering 11:00AM, Graveside Service 11:30AM with lunch to follow.
