Raymond John "Ray" Stang, Jr., age 77, of Maple Grove.
Survived by his wife of 52 years, Gloriann "Giz" Stang; children, Jeremy Stang and Amanda (Joe) Cooney; grandchildren, Kailey and Alicia Olson, Keaton, Levi and Elsie Cooney; sisters, Idell Muenzer and Jean (Jim) Ziebol; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Preceded in death by parents, Ray, Sr. & Dorothy Stang; son, Jason Stang; brothers, Willy and Delroy Stang; sisters, Doris Plachecki and LaVerle Johnson; brothers-in-law, Charles Muenzer and Myron Johnson; and sister-in-law, Theresa Stang.
Ray worked his entire career in the printing industry, retiring from RR Donnelly in Maple Grove. In his prime he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was one of a kind. Everyone loved his great sense of humor; especially his grandkids who loved to sit around and listen to him make them laugh. He will be greatly missed.
Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM Thursday, April 7, 2022, at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 9100 93rd Ave. N., Brooklyn Park, with visitation 1 hour prior to mass at church. Private interment at a later date.
