Roy’s legacy of camaraderie and outdoor exploration will live on in the hearts of those he touched. He will be missed.
Oftentimes, hunting and fishing are pursuits that are passed down from father to son. Our family was fortunate to have an uncle that shared his hunting and fishing passion with all of us.
In memory of Roy … Whenever we hunt we’ll think of you because we know you’re in Heaven hunting too!

Evans-Nordby funeral chapel in Osseo, MN handled my husband’s cremation and Celebration of Life service in July of 2023. I can’t say enough positive things about all aspects of my interactions with them. They reached out to help every step of the way—from planning the Celebration of Life service, the service itself, and after care contact. Brittney was the person I primarily worked with. She was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, organized, and had great communication skills, which greatly helped in reducing my stress level. I plan to contact Evans-Nordby soon to pre-plan my own final arrangements.
