Obituary for Shawn Rieschl

Shawn Anders Rieschl, 48, born November 2, 1974, passed away unexpectedly June 2, 2023. Shawn spent his life helping others. He was always ready to do whatever anyone needed. He was loved by all. Shawn loved fishing, hunting, and being in nature. “He fixed things and knew stuff.” He was caring, smart, witty, charming, and opinionated. His passing leaves a hole in the hearts of his survivors: John Rieschl, father; Beverly Rieschl, mother; Michael Rieschl, brother; Amy Rieschl, sister-in-law; Rebecca “Becky” Rieschl, sister; Adriana Fertig, step-daughter and her husband, Peter; and many other family & friends. Memorial Service 2PM Saturday, June 17, 2023, at Evans-Nordby Funeral Home, 6000 Brooklyn Blvd., Brooklyn Center, MN 55429, with visitation starting at 1PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to the donor’s favorite charity.
