On Friday, December 4, 2020, Shirley Klukken of Brooklyn Center peacefully passed away at the age of 90.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Raymond Klukken, sisters, Jeanette (Tom) Mattson, Mary Lou (Neill) Neumann; and brother-in-law, William Jones.
She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, passionate for raising her large family and was an active member of St. Alphonsus Church.
Survived by sons, Douglas (Diana), Steven, Daniel, James (Susan), Robert, Peter (Emily); daughters, Lizabeth (Gary) Parendo, Jane (John) Skillings, Joan (Chris) Keprios, Susan Henry, Ann (Kyle) Freeman; 17 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sister, Lois Jones; and many other family and friends. She will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved her.
A private funeral service due to COVID-19 outbreak will be held on Thursday, December 10, at 11AM at St. Alphonsus Church in Brooklyn Center, with burial to follow.
A future celebration of Shirley's wonderful life is planned for a later date.
