Sylvia Dramstad, born 12/24/1926 passed away 5/15/2020 peacefully in her sleep of natural causes. Known as “his Tweetie” by her husband of almost 68 years, Edwin.
Preceded in death by her parents, Iver and Ida Sogn and brother, Kenneth Sogn.
Survived by her husband, Edwin; daughters, Barbara (Larry) Schmauss and Delores Ann “Dee” (Kevin) Warne; son, Steven (Judy) Dramstad; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
A private viewing was held and she was laid to rest at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery 5/26/2020.A celebration of her life will held at a later date.
Memorials preferred to Eternal Hope Lutheran Church, Brooklyn Park or Little Bethany Cemetery Fund, Barnesville.

Evans-Nordby funeral chapel in Osseo, MN handled my husband’s cremation and Celebration of Life service in July of 2023. I can’t say enough positive things about all aspects of my interactions with them. They reached out to help every step of the way—from planning the Celebration of Life service, the service itself, and after care contact. Brittney was the person I primarily worked with. She was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, organized, and had great communication skills, which greatly helped in reducing my stress level. I plan to contact Evans-Nordby soon to pre-plan my own final arrangements.
