Thomas J. Regan, 63, formerly of Sleepy Eye, MN, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Friday, November 26th, in Buckeye, AZ, as a result of Frontotemporal Degeneration.
Thomas was born in Rochester, MN to Robert and Mary Lou Regan. The family later moved to Osseo, MN. Tom was very proud of his hometown. He loved to reminisce of his days as a three sport varsity athlete at Osseo Sr. High and his hockey record of penalty minutes.
Thomas was united in marriage to Lisa Arth on March 21, 1978 and together they created a home in Sleepy Eye, MN. There they raised six children and owned Sleepy Eye Buslines. They later divorced, but remained friends. Tom's love of hockey carried into Sleepy Eye, where he took great pride in coaching hockey for many years, and helped in the planning and building of the Sleepy Eye Hockey Arena.
Thomas sold Sleepy Eye Buslines in 2004. In his retirement he enjoyed traveling, listening to music, cooking, spending time with his friends, children, grandkids, and coaching at Mount Kato. Those that knew Tom will miss his bright smile, his larger than life personality, and his uncanny ability to deliver a joke for almost any occasion.
He will be greatly missed and is survived by his six children: Sean (Sherry) Regan of Buckeye, AZ; Suzanne (Brandon) Rodewald of Mankato, MN; Erin (Bo) MacDonald of Hermosa Beach, CA; Thomas Regan Jr. of Buckeye, AZ; Mary (Loren Beltz) Regan of Mankato, MN; and Robert Regan of Buckeye, AZ. His siblings: David (Bonnie) Regan of Maple Grove, Teresa (Bruce) Umland of Maple Grove, Mark Regan of Osseo and Patricia (Michael) Ringler of Champlin. He enjoyed being a Grandpa and will be mourned by his grandchildren; Victoria, Arlie, Chase, Vanessa, Violet, and Cash.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Lou Regan, brothers, Scott Regan and Brian Regan, and his granddaughter Willow Regan.

Evans-Nordby funeral chapel in Osseo, MN handled my husband’s cremation and Celebration of Life service in July of 2023. I can’t say enough positive things about all aspects of my interactions with them. They reached out to help every step of the way—from planning the Celebration of Life service, the service itself, and after care contact. Brittney was the person I primarily worked with. She was kind, compassionate, knowledgeable, organized, and had great communication skills, which greatly helped in reducing my stress level. I plan to contact Evans-Nordby soon to pre-plan my own final arrangements.
